Decaf Green Tea | 脫咖綠茶 - decafgreentea

Decaf Green Tea, a pan-fired Longjing from the Qiantang hills, pairs toasted, chestnut sweetness with a clean, brisk finish. Decaffeinated with pure CO2, it keeps the delicate green character and body that decaf greens usually lose.

Our Decaf Green begins as spring-plucked Longjing from the Qiantang hills near Hangzhou, flat-pressed and pan-fired by hand. Decaffeinated with supercritical CO2, pure carbon dioxide, no chemical solvents, so the delicate aromatics survive intact. The cup opens toasty and nutty, settles into Longjing's green-almond sweetness, and finishes clean and brisk rather than grassy or flat.

Our Longjing comes from Hangzhou (杭州), the region in Zhejiang where Longjing tea originated and still sets the standard. Tucked into the low hills around West Lake, it is a landscape of terraced gardens, morning fog, and old growing villages that have worked the same slopes for centuries.

To preserve its delicate profile while making it more versatile for everyday wellness, we apply a clean, chemical-free CO₂ decaffeination process. This method reduces caffeine down to 3-5mg per cup without using any harsh solvents. Our careful process is designed to balance caffeine removal with flavor preservation, ensuring the tea retains its depth, aroma, and naturally smooth finish.
